• Jackie Demetriou, BVetMed, CertSAS, DipECVS, FRCVS
• Is an internationally recognized veterinary surgeon specializing in small animal surgery, particularly soft tissue procedures. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London and continued her training with a surgical residency at the University of Edinburgh, later obtaining a European diploma in veterinary surgery.
• Throughout her career, she has worked in leading referral clinics and has played an important role in academia, serving as a lecturer at the University of Cambridge and as an associate professor at the University of Nottingham.
• She is well known for her contributions to research and education, having authored numerous scientific publications and books, and being a member of major professional organizations such as the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
• Through her clinical and academic work, she has made a significant contribution to the advancement of modern veterinary surgery.
