SkillVet is an international mentorship community, founded and led by veterinary Diplomates, where a personal specialist stays on your cases long after the module ends.
Who We Are
SkillVet is a mentorship community founded and led by vets who hold the highest level of specialist recognition in the European system (ECVIM, ECVDI, ECVAA and equivalent colleges). The specialists who lead SkillVet’s mentorships are the ones still doing the work themselves and the same mentor who takes your first case takes your last too.

The Gap
Vet school teaches the theory. Weekend CE courses add more information. Neither one closes the gap between knowing the material and trusting your own read of a real, ambiguous case when alone, without a specialist down the hall.
The Fix
That gap isn't a knowledge problem. It's a repetition and feedback problem, and it doesn't close in a weekend. It closes with practice, correction, and time. Exactly what a single event can't offer, and what a mentorship is built for.

That's the reasoning behind every program here: modules spaced over months instead of crammed into one, time between them to take what you learned back into your own clinic, and a mentor whose job doesn't end when the room empties.

A course teaches you something once, over a weekend, and moves on. A SkillVet mentorship is built differently: several in-person modules spread across months, homework on your own cases in between, and a personal mentor who reviews your work and stays with you until the program ends. You leave with a certificate either way. The difference is everything that happens before you get there.
Programs run in weekend modules, not weeks away. You're back in clinic between each one.
No, registration covers the full program. That's deliberate: whatever didn't click the first time gets picked up again later, after you've taken it into your own clinic and found out where it breaks. We're also planning shorter, weekend-length programs (2 days).

Sometimes life happens, and we understand. If it's force majeure, you get the theory recordings, and the practical part is recovered at a later module by arrangement. But you can’t miss all of them. So please make sure your schedule allows you to participate live.
