DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://skillvet.com/event/intensive-veterinary-cardio
 logy-5/register">Intensive veterinary cardiology</a>\nLearning objectives
Day 9: Cardiac Emergencies Part I Attendees will learn to recognize and tr
iage critical cardiac patients presenting with syncope\, acute respiratory
distress\, or collapse. They will understand the immediate management of
left-sided and right-sided congestive heart failure\, including oxygen the
rapy\, diuretics\, and vasodilators. Hands-on echocardiography will focus
on rapid assessment protocols\, including pericardial effusion\, lung patt
erns and cardiac remodelling and contractility. Day 10: Cardiac Emergencie
s Part II By the end of this final day\, participants will be able to reco
 gnize life-threatening arrhythmias\, perform basic rhythm interpretation\,
and initiate emergency treatment in line with current guidelines. They wi
ll also learn the essentials of cardiopulmonary resuscitation\, including
the RECOVER protocol. Practical sessions will emphasize ultrasound-guided
emergency assessment\, allowing rapid differentiation between shock types
 and guiding immediate care.
