DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://skillvet.com/event/intensive-veterinary-cardio
 logy-4/register">Intensive veterinary cardiology</a>\nLearning objectivesD
ay 7: Acquired Heart Diseases in Cats By the end of this session\, partici
pants will be able to distinguish between various feline cardiomyopathies\
 , including hypertrophic\, restrictive\, and unclassified forms\, and inte
rpret their echocardiographic features. They will learn to assess the risk
of thromboembolism\, evaluate the significance of left atrial enlargement
\, and develop treatment plans based on risk stratification. Case-based di
scussions will reinforce clinical decision-making in this notoriously subt
le and complex species.Day 8: Congenital Heart Diseases Delegates will be
introduced to the most common congenital heart defects encountered in prac
tice—PDA\, pulmonic stenosis\, ventricular septal defects\, and others.
They will learn to recognize associated murmurs\, understand the embryolog
ic basis of defects\, and interpret key Doppler findings. Through interact
ive discussions\, they will improve their diagnostic accuracy and understa
nd when referral for interventional procedures is indicated.
