c Approach to ECG Interpretation</a>\nA free webinar on reading ECGs with
 confidence\, with Dr. Laurent Locquet\, Dipl. ECVIM-CA (Cardiology)\, Cour
se Master of SkillVet's cardiology programs. The moment this webinar is fo
r A patient's ECG doesn't quite look right. Is it something to act on\, or
just noise? You have thirty seconds to decide\, and no one down the hall
to check your read against. Most vets last got formal ECG training in scho
ol. Everything since then has been picked up on the fly: a strip here\, a
textbook there\, a guess in the middle of a busy day. ECGs don't have to b
e complicated. In this practical webinar\, we go back to the foundations o
f ECG interpretation and build a simple\, systematic approach you can actu
ally use the next time a strip lands on your desk. What to expect After th
is webinar\, you will be able to:Read an ECG using a simple\, systematic a
pproach that holds up on any tracing\, not just the textbook ones.Know wha
t to check first\, second\, and third\, instead of trying to take in the w
hole strip at once.Recognize the most important and clinically relevant EC
G abnormalities.Avoid the interpretation mistakes that come up most often
in daily practice.Apply the same step-by-step method consistently\, case a
fter case\, so the read gets faster and more confident every time you use
it. About your host Dr. Laurent Locquet is a Diplomate of the European Col
lege of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology) and Course Master of Ski
llVet's cardiology programs\, where he has taught every module to date. He
graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ghent University. He completed his Europea
n Residency in cardiology at Ghent from 2017 to 2020\, became a Diplomate
ECVIM-CA in 2022\, and was recognized as an RCVS Specialist the same year.
